Process Engineer

Join Corning, a leading innovator in glass, ceramic, and materials science, as a Process Engineer. You will be responsible for continuous improvement of existing products and processes, supporting manufacturing functions, and providing technical support and problem-solving for production, development, and research operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Chemical or Science in Engineering or equivalent technical experience
• At least 2 years experiences in process engineering or other related manufacturing engineering area including process, material, control, mechanical and Chemical.
• Knowledge of EHS relevant law and regulations
• Optical fiber, connector assembly and test knowledge and experience
• DMAIC practice experience
• Track record of delivering results
• Demonstrated knowledge in a technical field
• Project team membership
• Familiar with ERP system
• Familiar with quality, EH&S management system such as ISO9001, ISO14001.
• Familiar with process/quality/cost control and improvement tools such as SPC, DOE, FMEA, TQM, IE, seven quality tools, MCV etc.
• Good written and oral English communication
• Good PC skills such as Microsoft office
• Communication and interpersonal skill
• Self-motivate, independent, willing to work under pressure
