Supplier Quality Engineer

Corning is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to oversee and manage supplier quality performance, conduct supplier audits, and ensure supplier compliance with quality standards. The successful candidate will collaborate with suppliers to identify and rectify quality issues, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and develop and maintain partnerships with suppliers. They will also review supplier manufacturing processes, ensure proper documentation of supplier quality data, and manage projects related to supplier quality.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or equivalent technical discipline.
• 3–5 years of experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2+ years of experience in Supplier Quality Management and Supplier Development.
• Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) certification, or equivalent preferred.
• DMAIC green belt certification preferred.
• English proficiency, both oral and written.
