Job description
We are looking for a Supplier Quality Engineer to join our growing PHINIA SCM team. This position will support us in supplier quality management function. The role will involve reviewing the quality system of potential suppliers, conducting audits and technical assessments, and driving improvement with suppliers.
The Supplier Quality Engineer will support sourcing team to review the quality system of potential suppliers, conduct audits, technical assessments and process review, and follow up corresponding actions. They will also support SDE about supplier APQP activities and drive improvement with supplier.
We are looking for a candidate with a bachelor degree or above in engineering or equivalent, and at least 5 years of SQE/SDE experience in automotive industry. The ideal candidate will have good command of English, MS.Office, and quality tools such as APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, 8D, 5W.
