
Job description
As a Business Development Associate, you will collaborate with a high-performing sales team to foster new business opportunities in North America within the foreign exchange arena. You will report directly to the Director of Business Development and work in the Toronto office.
You will be responsible for positioning conversations towards business owners, C-suite executives, and finance leaders to articulate customized solutions for their currency risk management and global payment needs. You will also engage in daily outreach to potential customers through cold calls, emails, and LinkedIn messaging.
This role is a great fit for someone who is highly self-motivated, competitive, and driven to generate new business opportunities. You should have excellent negotiation skills, be able to work in a collaborative setting, and have a strong interest in learning the field of finance and global markets.
