COBOL Developer

We are seeking a COBOL Developer to design, develop, and maintain critical financial applications in our Corporate Payments division. The successful candidate will have experience working with COBOL, CICS, JCL, SQL, DB2, and VSAM, and will be based in Atlanta, GA.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or Professional Degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent
• At least 5-7 years working experience as a software developer and/or designer
• Programming Languages/Tools: COBOL, CICS, JCL, SQL, DB2, VSAM
• Environment: IBM Mainframe using TSO / ISPF
• Hands-on experience in object-oriented language/frameworks (Java, C# and or JEE,.NET), RDBMS (Microsoft SQL or Oracle), and Web technologies including HTML/JavaScript
• Experience with one of the following Integrated Development Environment (IDE) –RDz, Eclipse, or Ms Visual Studio
• Advanced degree – MBA or MS
• Self-motivated and interested in working closely with the business in support of transaction processing and financial services businesses
