Security Officer

To safeguard the physical welfare of patients, staff, and visitors, and protect the hospital's property and assets from vandalism and theft.

Requirements

• Performs preventative foot patrol of hospital buildings, perimeters and parking lots
• Answers calls for service and handles lost/found and deceased patient property
• Responds to emergency calls for assistance and provides nighttime escorts
• Conducts initial investigations of reported security and safety incidents and writes security reports
• Demonstrates professionalism, communication, and compassion with regard for human dignity
