Security Officer

To safeguard the physical welfare of patients, staff, and visitors and protect the hospital's property and assets from vandalism and theft.

Requirements

• Perform preventative foot patrol of hospital buildings, perimeters and parking lots
• Protect hospital assets and safeguard the physical welfare of patients, employees, and the public
• Answer calls for service and handle lost/found and deceased patient property
• Enforce parking regulations
• Respond to emergency calls for assistance
• Provide nighttime escorts to ensure safety of employees and visitors
• Conduct initial investigations of reported security and safety incidents
• Conduct field interviews and initiate investigations of suspicious persons and circumstances
