Job Description
The Finance and Grants Officer will assist in implementing day-to-day financial activities, including recording transactions, processing vendor payments, and preparing financial reports. The position will also work closely with the Grants Manager in grants management activities and ensure compliance with donor and Counterpart International regulations.
Requirements
- University degree in accounting or related field
- Minimum five years in accounting with two years in grants management experience
- Experience working with international development programs
- Substantive knowledge of US government funding agencies (e.g. USAID)
- Knowledge of grant processes and accounting software (QuickBooks)
- Strong analytical skills and ability to use Microsoft Office
