Job Description
We are looking for a Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Covenant Care. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day delivery of care to residents, collaborating with the interdisciplinary team, and upholding our mission, vision, and values.
Requirements
- Graduate of an approved Practical Nurse Program
- Current registration with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA)
- Current CPR / First Aid Certification / Equivalency
- Ability to speak French (an asset)
- Dementia education (an asset)
- Strong critical assessment skills
- Ability to relate to people with respect and compassion
- Exceptional active listening skills
- Ability to work in a continuing care setting and deal with difficult behaviors
- Ability to cope with frequent changes and possess multi-tasking and time management skills
