Licensed Practical Nurse - Casual

Covenant Care welcomes Licensed Practical Nurses who share a calling to serve those most in need. As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day delivery of care to residents, working cohesively with the interdisciplinary team, and ensuring quality care and service according to Covenant Care policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Graduate of an approved Practical Nurse Program
• Current registration with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA)
• Current CPR / First Aid Certification / Equivalency
• Ability to speak French an asset
• Dementia education an asset
• Strong critical assessment skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a continuing care setting and deal with difficult behaviors
• Ability to cope with frequent changes and possess exceptional multi-tasking and time management skills
• Vaccinated against all required communicable diseases under Covenant Care’s OHS policy
