Process Engineer I

Role Overview

As a Process Engineer I at Medtronic, you will provide technical and sustaining engineering support in a manufacturing area, recommending and implementing equipment and process modifications to meet quality standards and improve production efficiencies.

Responsibilities may include providing technical support, recommending equipment and process modifications, integrating equipment and material capabilities, reviewing product development requirements, and leading innovation and development of new manufacturing concepts.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field
• Advanced English
• Basic understanding of manufacturing processes
• Familiarity with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) concepts
• Knowledge of Bills of Materials (BOMs), engineering documentation, and change management processes
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings, process flow diagrams, and standard operating procedures
• Basic analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong documentation skills and attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
• Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment
