A Coffee Field Service Engineer is responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing, and servicing commercial and domestic coffee machines at client sites, with a focus on technical expertise, customer service skills, and a passion for coffee equipment.
Requirements
- Installation: Assemble and install coffee machines and related equipment at client locations, ensuring all devices are operational and meet safety standards.
- Maintenance: Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on a variety of coffee machines, grinders, and related equipment to minimise breakdowns and prolong lifespan.
- Repairs: Diagnose faults, replace parts, and repair mechanical issues on-site or in the workshop as required.
- Customer Support: Provide technical advice, training, and guidance to customers regarding machine operation, cleaning, and basic troubleshooting.
- Documentation: Complete detailed service reports, log parts used, and maintain accurate records of work undertaken.
- Stock Management: Manage van stock levels and order replacement parts as necessary to ensure prompt service delivery.
- Health & Safety: Adhere to all health and safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards whilst on client premises.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- Travel: Cover assigned regions, often requiring travel between multiple client sites daily.
