Your Job Area

You lead material handling projects in the automotive sector, especially in the body-in-white, paint, or final assembly areas. You accompany all phases: from conceptual and fine planning to the creation of tender documents and the awarding process to the realization accompaniment of green- and brownfield projects.

You analyze existing processes and optimize production flows. This includes developing transition or rebuilding concepts, creating layouts, and planning reconstruction steps in brownfield projects (including a list of measures).

You calculate and evaluate the plans for material handling, including investment requirements, and support customers in their investment decisions by creating decision-making documents.

You plan material handling systems in detail in terms of mechanical and control-technical implementation and create the corresponding system specifications and cost sheets for market demand.

You check offers for their plausibility, technical completeness, and comparability and support the procurement process by issuing recommendations for the award of material handling systems.

You take over project management for the entire planning and procurement process and coordinate project accompaniment during construction, system installation, commissioning to final acceptance. This includes tracking deadlines, cost control, and documentation.

You continuously agree with adjacent works, suppliers, and customers to ensure smooth cooperation throughout the project period.

These Qualifications You Should Bring

You have a study in an engineering discipline, for example in mechanical engineering, production engineering, or automation technology, successfully completed or possess a comparable training.

You bring corresponding professional experience in the automotive environment, whether at an OEM or supplier, and are familiar with the planning, realization, and commissioning process, especially in the area of material handling and automation technology.

You have in-depth knowledge in mechanics and construction as well as in electricity and control technology and ideally also in layout planning.

You stand out for very good conceptual, methodical, and analytical skills.

You work independently and structured, go solution-oriented and are able to act independently.

You are proficient in using CAD layout programs such as Microstation including TriCad and LuArtX.

You have very good German and English skills and are skilled in using MS-Office.
