Quality Engineer

Role Overview

Has primary responsibility for development and maintenance of production quality standards and documentation. Collaborates on continuous improvement activities through problem prevention and mitigation, leads corrective actions through data analysis trending, and support external audits and the internal audit program.

What You Will Do

Supports quality inspections and audit preparation, monitors production quality performance to identify opportunities for improvement, completes, reviews, and maintains quality records for compliance to creation’s quality system, and supports customer and regulatory compliance requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Quality or Engineering or equivalent industry and/or military experience
• Up to 4 years’ experience in Quality or related roles
• Electronics manufacturing service or related industry experience is preferred
• Familiarity with Microsoft (MS) Office suite, Minitab, or equivalent software
• Experience working in the quality for an organization certified to ISO standards (13485 and 9001 preferred)
• Basic knowledge and understanding of Lean and Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies and quality tools
• Familiarity with PFMEA, Control Plans, Measurement System Analysis, APQP and PPAP
• Interpretation of assembly prints and drawings
• Proficient English verbal and written communication
