Job Description
Vertis Therapy is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) for their assisted living and independent living community in Plant City, FL. The role offers a flexible schedule, 1:1 treatments, and a supportive team environment. The PTA will assist therapists, provide patient care, and maintain clinic operations.
Requirements
- Associate of Science degree in Physical Therapy Assistant
- Current license or eligibility for a license under state statutes
- Experience in rehabilitation settings serving the same patient population as the facility (minimum 1 year)
- Active membership in the American Physical Therapy Association (preferred)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Computer skills required for documentation
- Ability to follow directions and understand policies
