Physical Therapist Full Time

Vertis Therapy is seeking a Full-Time Physical Therapist to join our team at a beautiful Assisted Living community in Washington, DC. The company is dedicated to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care while supporting therapist autonomy and professional growth.

Requirements

• Licensed Physical Therapist in Washington, DC (or eligible)
• Passion for working with the geriatric population
• Strong communication and clinical skills
• Commitment to patient-centered care
• Master of Science degree in Physical Therapy or Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy and five years of direct practice experience
• Current license/certification in the state of practice
• Prefer minimum one (1) year experience in rehabilitation
• Prefer membership in the American Physical Therapy Association
• Demonstrated competency in identified areas of specialization
• Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
• Adequate computer skills in order to complete required job duties and computerized documentation
• Demonstrated competency in applying principles, methods, materials and equipment used in physical therapy
• Knowledge of accreditation standards and compliance requirements
