Job Description
Crescent City Schools is seeking a Special Education Teacher to run a self-contained classroom as a lead teacher for the Aurora program, a small classroom setting for K-8 students with exceptionalities. The teacher will develop academic, behavioral, emotional, and social skills, and work closely with students, parents, and teammates to improve student performance and social development.
Requirements
- BA or BS degree (preferred)
- Louisiana Teacher Certification in Special Education (or equivalent certification in another state)
- Knowledge of social-emotional and behavioral interventions (preferred)
- Bilingual (preferred)
