The Edibles Kitchen Supervisor reports to the Kitchen Manager and is responsible for production of Cresco Labs medically infused edible products. Manages a team of kitchen agents and leads to carry out day-to-day tasks including prepping, cleaning, cooking, and operating basic production machinery.
Requirements
- Experience leading, managing, coaching, and developing direct reports and teams.
- 2+ years’ experience in food or confectionary processing/manufacturing preferred.
- Experience in a field and/or operation that adheres to strict health and safety policies and procedures, preferably a regulated field producing products for human consumption.
- Demonstrates a clear understanding of recipes, food production and kitchen sanitation.
- Demonstrates expert knowledge of SOPs, GFSI, GMP, GDP and other company policies
- Strong and effective task-management skills and ability to multi-task.
- Attention to detail – ability to monitor basic kitchen production in processes, organize and maintain production logs and ingredient lot numbers.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing and challenging environment.
- Experience with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Metrc/Canix a plus.
- Requires work around plant material, which could include exposure to plant pollen and/or dust.
- Requires ability to sit, stand, and/or do repetitive actions with your hands for long periods of time.
- Requires ability to lift up to 50 lbs to torso level.
