Job Description
Greet guests and assist them with selecting wines to complement their meals onboard the cruise ship, provide recommendations and suggestions on wine pairings, and ensure accurate and timely delivery of wine orders.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Wine Waiter in a high-end restaurant or luxury hotel
- Extensive knowledge of different types of wines, regions, and vintages
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to handle guest inquiries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must be at least 21 years of age and hold a valid alcohol service certification
- Fluent in English, additional languages are a plus
