CrowdStrike is seeking a highly motivated and business-oriented commercial attorney and manager to join and lead its Public Sector Legal Team. The Senior Lead Counsel, Public Sector will serve as the primary legal advisor to the Public Sector Sales organization and will play a key role in enabling revenue growth while managing legal and regulatory risk.
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited U.S. law school.
- Active admission to at least one U.S. state bar.
- 7–12+ years of progressively responsible experience in federal, state, and local government contracting, particularly commercial item acquisitions, with technology companies offering cloud-based software or SaaS solutions and associated professional services.
- Excellent knowledge of U.S. public sector procurement laws, regulations, and procedures, including FAR, DFARS, agency-specific supplements, applicable state and local laws, and commercial contracting principles.
- Strong experience with public sector contracting vehicles such as GWACs, IDIQs, BPAs, BOAs, and similar arrangements.
- Experience supporting public sector resellers, system integrators, and other channel partners.
- Proven ability to negotiate and manage large, complex product and services agreements from opportunity qualification through execution and post-award support.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to advise and influence senior business stakeholders.
- Sound judgment and the ability to balance legal risk with business objectives in a fast-paced, sales-driven environment.
- Ability to manage multiple competing priorities with a “roll up your sleeves” attitude, and a collaborative mindset.
