Underwriter - MPL/LPL

The Underwriter/Sr. Underwriter is responsible for building and maintaining a book of Professional Liability business, including MPL, standalone or with Cyber and Multimedia coverage, and Lawyers Professional Liability, both primary and excess. The role involves working with brokers in the underwriter’s assigned territory to solicit business and market the company’s products, through phone calls and in person interaction/travel.

Requirements

• Experience with Miscellaneous Professional Liability Errors & Omissions and Cyber Insurance products
• Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of relevant underwriting experience
• Strong analytical skills; exceptional attention to detail
• Self-directed, strong organizational skills
• Solid computer skills including Word, Excel: email & internet based technology
• Solid verbal and written communication, as well as, math skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and collaboratively
