Requirements

• Define, prioritize, and ensure the consistent, platform-agnostic implementation of key QoE metrics.
• Drive efforts to monitor and improve the real-time playback experience for fans.
• Enhance the ingestion, processing, and access of playback telemetry data to improve system reliability and data accessibility.
• Strengthen alerting, monitoring, and debugging capabilities to proactively detect and rapidly resolve playback performance issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify pain points in observability and deliver scalable, reusable solutions.
• Advocate for best practices in automation, tooling, and infrastructure across the organization.
• Maintain high coding standards and follow best practices in development, contributing to a culture of engineering excellence within the team.
• Participate in design and code reviews, providing feedback to ensure high-quality product delivery and alignment with architectural strategies across the team.
• Support a culture of operational excellence by focusing on efficient and maintainable engineering practices in your day-to-day work.
• Stay updated on industry trends and development technologies by researching and comparing new tools and frameworks to help keep our video platform competitive.
