Job Description
Stobart is seeking a Transport Planner to join their Warrens Transport Team. The role involves day-to-day planning of transport operations, despatching and controlling daily routes, and communicating with warehouse and customer service teams. The successful candidate will have good geographical knowledge of the UK, experience in transport planning, and proficiency in computer literacy.
Requirements
- Good geographical knowledge of the UK
- Experience of transport planning
- Proficient in computer literacy including Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint, Work and Outlook
- Experience of using a TMS system
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to succeed in a pressurised environment
- Customer focus on delivery performance
- Commercially and financially astute
