Job Description
The Contract Mental Health Therapist provides individual and group services to address co-occurring mental health disorders and substance use disorders at Cumberland Heights. This is a non-salaried, independent contractor position.
Requirements
- Master’s Degree in counseling, social work, or related field
- Active unrestricted licensure (LCSW, LPC-MHSP or equivalent)
- Experience with trauma and co-occurring disorders
- Strong clinical judgement, documentation, communication, and computer skills
- Ability to work collaboratively and respond to crisis situations
- Credentialed with commercial insurance panels
- Malpractice insurance
- Licensure in good standing
- Responsibility for all applicable taxes, insurance, and business expenses
