Job Description
Cummins is seeking a Field Service Power Generation Technician/Mechanic to join their Distribution Business in New Hudson, MI. This role focuses on repairing generators, components, engaging with customers, performing maintenance/repairs, and maintaining records. The position offers opportunities for ongoing development and certification.
Requirements
- Broad mechanical and electrical repair and maintenance abilities
- High Voltage / Low Voltage experience
- Capable of electrical repair and maintenance with minimal supervision
- Basic Diesel Engine experience
- Proficient troubleshooting and repairs of generators, transfer switches, and auxiliary components
- Able to perform repairs on ATS systems
- Commissioning of new ATS installations
- Apprentice Certified Power Generation/ Electrical Technician (Preferred)
