EHS Specialist

EHS Specialist role at Curtiss Wright's Round Rock, TX facility, responsible for administering EH&S program and business unit metrics. Seeking someone with knowledge of safety education, industrial hygiene, accident prevention, and safety psychology.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Health Administration, Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science.
• Relevant certifications like CSP (Certified Safety Professional), CHMM (Certified Hazardous Materials Manager) and/or OSHA certification are preferred.
• 2-4 years of experience specializing in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding and familiarity with state and federal workplace compliance guidelines and OSHA/DEP regulatory requirements.
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to quickly pivot and adapt to changing goals and objectives based on business need.
• Good color vision and hearing (correction acceptable).
• Must have ability to obtain any Company qualification/certification(s) as required.
• Must be able to lead and work effectively in a team environment.
