Job Description
We’re looking for a highly motivated Hardware Product Development Manager to lead a team responsible for the development of new products and support of existing product lines in Ottawa, ON. You will plan and oversee product development activities, work closely with cross-functional teams, and coach and mentor team members.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science, Technologist Diploma or equivalent
- 8 years industry experience relating to electronics computing
- Prior experience in a managerial or leadership role is preferred
- Demonstrated drive and ability to achieve goals in an innovative and fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and able to react to shifting priorities to meet business needs
- Ability to estimate/schedule development projects
- Detailed knowledge of embedded computing systems architecture, hardware, software and related support requirements in the military/aerospace industry
