Job Description
Supervisor, Mechanical Design Engineer leading a team of mechanical design engineers to develop technical solutions for emerging problems, including new product development and supporting existing products for nuclear power plants.
Requirements
- Design parts and assemblies for various product lines
- Create schematic and assembly drawings using Solidworks or AutoCAD
- Review manufacturing drawings for parts and determine manufacturing processes and specify tolerancing requirements
- Develop engineering solutions and proposal documentation for RFQs and RFIs
- Collaborate with the analysis team on parts or assemblies that require FEA or CFD
- Communicate with customers on project and design related challenges
