Job Description
The Supply Chain Manager will lead the development and management of the supply chain strategy, ensuring the business can deliver goods to quality, cost, and schedule. The role involves ownership of the supply chain strategy, supplier partnerships, contract and order management, and development of key performance indicators.
Requirements
- Security contractual compliance requires being a sole British National.
- Previous experience working with procurement or planning department and leading materials (or elements of) management teams within a regulated industry.
- CIPS or MCIPS qualification or equivalent
- Understanding of quality systems such as ISO-9001, OHSAS 18001 and NQA-1
- Expertise working with materials modules in MRP/ERP systems
- Strategic thinker with clear analytical skills and the ability to balance long-term and short-term priorities
- Commercially and financially astute, with strong negotiation and decision-making skills
- Ability to challenge, influence and present to all levels (internal and external stakeholders)
- Positive and pragmatic approach to achieving results
- The ability to analyse problems and recommend a course of action.
- Strong leadership and people management skills, including leading a team and managing and motivating staff to achieve challenging goals
