Job description
Responsible for ensuring the proper and efficient operation and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for assigned facilities. Typically, this position does not have a Chief Engineer on-site and may be the solo engineer at the building. Supervises maintenance staff when applicable.
Assist with daily operations and maintenance, supervise maintenance staff, perform preventive maintenance duties, recommend improvements to the preventive maintenance program, and maintain effective building-specific maintenance procedures.
Requires 5+ years of related trade experience, technical proficiency, decision-making, and problem-solving skills. Must have a valid driver's license, basic computing skills, and experience in operation, maintenance, and basic repair of HVAC, boilers, and other systems.
