YARD ATTENDANT

This position is responsible for the operation, staging, loading and unloading of heavy and light duty trucks and equipment, maintaining the appearance of the yard/branch, and completing other daily assignments that support the branch operations.

Requirements

• Quickly and safely evaluate and identify the needed materials, tooling, and steps necessary to finish the needed task.
• Inspect parts, equipment or vehicles for cleanliness, damage and compliance with standards.
• Detail and clean trucks to prepare them for shipping/delivery.
• Load and unload equipment and vehicles plus check for any damage.
• Responsible for the maintenance of the building, yard, and equipment.
• Monitor inventory in yard and oversee incoming/outgoing vehicles.
• Test drive equipment if necessary.
• Perform all duties in accordance with best practices for a safe work environment.
