Operational Team Leader

Customs Support Group is a leading independent customs services provider. As an Operational Team Leader, you will oversee a team of declarants, ensuring declarations are processed correctly and on time, while improving digital maturity and quality. You will work closely with customs professionals and technology teams to drive innovation and excellence in customs work.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of coordinating experience with real accountability in customs, logistics, or supply chain operations.
• Solid knowledge of Dutch and EU customs legislation, compliance requirements, and AEO obligations.
• MBO+ or HBO level of thinking and working; background in customs-logistics, international trade, business administration, or supply chain management.
• Strong command of Dutch (written and spoken) and a good working level of English.
• Demonstrated ability to identify process improvements and manage their adoption within a team.
• Comfortable working with digital customs systems; experience with IDP, interfacing, or declaration platforms is a clear advantage.
• Hands-on mentality. You are not above diving into the details when the team needs it.
• Resilient under pressure. Customs does not pause for inconvenient timing.
• Quality-driven and compliance-minded. You set the standard and hold it.
