Job Description
The Maintenance Tech III (Entry Level) position is responsible for performing basic services and simple repairs for rooms, public spaces, offices, back of house spaces, and grounds in and around the hotels and conference centers. The role requires knowledge and skillsets in painting; light mechanical, plumbing problems, and resolving minor problems with electronic devices. The position also involves assisting other maintenance staff members in performing work, monitoring spaces for unusual operations, safety concerns, and aesthetic issues, and initiating correct actions.
Requirements
- High school diploma or G.E.D certificate
- Valid Commonwealth of Virginia driver's license and acceptable driving record
- Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds
- Ability to work at heights above 30 feet on ladders, lifts, and scaffolds
- Ability to work shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays, and emergency calls
