Stewarding Supervisor - Williamsburg Lodge

The Stewarding Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the stewarding department, ensuring proper operational relationships and responsibility with various departments, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Requirements

• Oversee all quality standards by all stewards in the kitchen during scheduled shift
• Exemplify proper technique, finesse, and knowledge of all stewarding procedures and methods
• Efficiently manage schedule to ensure all shifts are properly staffed
• Inventory Control: maintain silver, China and glassware's designated pair levels, assist with monthly inventory, and reduce unnecessary expenses
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines, obtain and maintain valid ServSafe certification, and manage to the standards of the ServSafe criteria
• Lead safe practices within the work environment, ensure completion of required Safety Trainings, and troubleshoot potential problems with the Kitchen facilities and storage
• Effectively communicate with co-workers and managers to maintain an efficient and safe workspace
