Controller

CWD is looking for a Controller to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and overseeing all accounting and finance operations while providing strategic financial guidance to support business growth and sustainability. The role includes ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, managing budgets and forecasts, driving cost control and revenue growth initiatives, mentoring and developing the accounting team, and identifying opportunities to optimize processes, strengthen internal controls, and align financial strategy with corporate objectives.

Requirements

• Leadership experience
• Minimum of Six (6) years of related experience
• College diploma or university degree in Accounting, Finance, or another related field
• CPA designation required
• ERP experience required
• Experience with international tax law (corporate and sales) is an asset
• Knowledge of subsidiaries and establishing or managing corporate entities outside of Canada
• Proficiency using Microsoft Office
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel knowledge (VLOOPUPS, Pivot Tables, IF Statements)
• Up-to-date financial accounting knowledge (ASPE)
• Experience managing a large volume of data
• Excellent organization and time management skills
• Analytical and highly motivated self-starter
• Detail oriented problem solver
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced ever-changing environment
