Field Service Technician

Cypress Creek Renewables is seeking a highly motivated Field Service Technician to perform preventative maintenance activities on solar PV systems. The role involves conducting on-site routine maintenance, service, troubleshooting, and repair of solar photovoltaic facilities. The ideal candidate should have utility-scale solar experience and be NABCEP Certified Installation Professional.

Requirements

• Conducting on-site routine maintenance, service, troubleshooting, and repair of solar photovoltaic facilities
• Performing DC and AC testing, including polarity, open circuit voltage, grounding continuity, communication, insulation resistance testing, and I-V curve tracing
• Maintaining the vehicle, tools, meters, and truck stock
• Creating service reports and maintaining spare parts inventory
• Identifying safety hazards and taking appropriate action to remove or eliminate hazards
• Responding on-call for emergencies as directed by your supervisor
• Having a valid Driver’s License and OSHA 10 HR Training
• Knowledge of National Electrical Code and standard design/construction practices
• Ability to read and understand electrical single-line and three-line diagrams
• Proficiency with MS Office suite
• Ability to take direction and complete tasks with minimal oversight
