Job Description
D.R. Horton, Inc. is looking for a Superintendent to manage all functions of the job site as it relates to home construction, providing excellent customer service. The candidate must have experience with construction scheduling, subcontractor management, and quality control.
Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Two to four years related experience
- Ability to read and interpret construction documents, drawings, specifications, scopes of work and knowledge of all phases of new homes construction
- Ability to converse with customers, all levels of management and personnel
- Superb interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated commitment to customer satisfaction
- Ability to control cost overruns and manage a budget
- Ability to utilize DRH Construction applications on a smart phone, tablet, or laptop
- Proficiency with MS Office and email
