Purchasing Manager position at International Dairy Queen, Inc. responsible for negotiating and managing purchasing programs with suppliers, ensuring adequate inventory levels, and forecasting sales and supply amounts.
Requirements
- B.A. or B.S. Degree in Supply Chain, Economics or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- 5-8 years of relevant and increasingly responsible business experience, including a minimum of 3-5 years of purchasing experience.
- Strong knowledge and familiarity with the Restaurant Industry and alternative suppliers.
- Strong negotiating skills with experience utilizing basic risk management programs and alternative risk mitigation strategies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Intermediate computer skills, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other reporting tools such as Power BI and ArrowStream.
