Job Description
This on-call zoologist position offers entry-level animal care work, following established protocols in food preparation, feeding, and exhibit maintenance. It's non-benefited, requiring up to 29 hours per week for up to 6 months, working around 28-30 hours/week for the first 2 months.
Requirements
- Provide daily care of assigned animals and exhibits.
- Clean animal exhibits and maintain sanitation.
- Participate in or assist with capture and restraint of taxa.
- Update animal records and research reports.
- Perform general maintenance and repair.
