Payroll Supervisor

The Payroll Supervisor oversees the accurate and timely processing of payroll, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, while partnering with Finance, HR, and external payroll providers to maintain strong payroll controls and improve processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
• 5–8+ years of progressive payroll experience, including supervisory responsibility
• Experience processing multi-state payroll in a mid-sized or growing organization
• Strong understanding of payroll tax compliance, wage and hour laws, and payroll controls
• Experience working with third-party payroll providers and integrated HRIS/ERP systems
• High attention to detail with strong analytical and reconciliation skills
• Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced, operational environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
