Job Description
The AB Deckhand is responsible for performing various tasks related to vessel maintenance, safety, and crew assistance. They work under the Captain and report any hazards or concerns. The role involves assisting in tow breaking, lookout duties, cleaning, painting, and maintaining the boat.
Requirements
- Valid MMC with AB Unlimited, AB Limited or AB Special Credential
- Valid Coast Guard Medical Card
- Valid TWIC
- 1-3 Years' experience (preferably working for a tugboat company)
- Must maintain proper watch and perform duties to ensure safety and vessel integrity
