Compressor Mechanic

Role Overview

The Compressor Mechanic is responsible for operating, troubleshooting, and repairing natural gas engines, compressors, and pumps. This includes engine control systems, computer programs, and preventative/predictive maintenance.

What You Will Do

Perform repairs on equipment, report spills and leaks, and troubleshoot pump and compressor valves. Work with high-speed reciprocating compressors and centrifugal and positive displacement pumps.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of Oil & Gas mechanical experience, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Requirements

• 3+ years of Oil & Gas mechanical experience
• Working knowledge of Pumps, Centrifugal Pumps, H-Pumps, etc.
• Working knowledge of air compressors, gas compressors, natural gas engines and generators
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
