Head of Forward Deployed Engineering

Dashmote builds AI-native, agentic data products for Fortune 500 brands and growth-oriented businesses. We're looking for a Forward Deploy Engineering Lead to create product vision, build prototypes, and lead a team to take it from prototype to production.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience building software, with hands-on time in both IC and lead/manager roles
• Have worked in a client-facing role with B2B SaaS, where you see how products are being used and adopted by clients (Data Analytics or Data Solution is a plus)
• Very good knowledge of all the potential use cases and the ability to understand the workflow of clients
• Ability to drive adoption by recommending the best product
• Have built features or products on your own; have built solutions using Agentic Coding Tools (Claude Code, Codex, OpenClaw, and other agentic frameworks)
• Understand what it takes to go from Agentic Coding to a productized solution at scale
• Ability to oversee team members to do the same
• AI-Native Mindset, you ship and release a product in days, not months. AI-Native setup: You can set up and work alongside internal AI agents.
• B2B SaaS background, ideally in data, analytics, or AI tooling
• For the Shanghai-based hire: native Chinese + strong English. English fluency is non-negotiable; you will be the daily bridge to non-Chinese-speaking colleagues.
