Job Description
DataCamp is building an AI tutoring system to deliver personalized learning experiences. We're seeking a Principal AI Engineer to build and evolve the core AI tutoring system, designing scalable software and integrating AI capabilities with platform systems.
Requirements
- 1+ years building complex LLM-based systems
- Strong software engineering fundamentals and architectural thinking
- Fluency in Python and experience with production infrastructure and cloud environments
- Ability to design meaningful evaluation methods and translate pedagogical goals into system behavior
