Job Description
DataCamp is building an AI tutoring system to deliver personalized learning experiences. We're seeking a Principal AI Engineer to build and evolve the core AI tutoring system, working remotely from the US, UK, Belgium, Portugal, or UAE.
Requirements
- 1+ years building complex LLM-based systems
- Strong prompt engineering intuition and experience designing agentic workflows
- Ability to design meaningful evaluation methods
- Strong software engineering fundamentals
- Fluency in Python
- Ability to reason holistically across AI behavior, content structure, platform features, and user experience
