Associate Network Engineer

Datacom is seeking an Associate Network Engineer to join their Networks Managed Services team in Auckland. The successful candidate will work on building true partnership with customers, providing network solutions, and maintaining a balanced approach to customer service and team collaboration.

Requirements

• 2+ years working in a professional services environment
• Developing knowledge of Networking and Firewalling covering Datacentres, Local Area Networks (LANs) and Wide Area Networks (WANs)
• Understanding the concepts of networking and the security associated with networking
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong customer service focus with excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Achieved or working towards tertiary qualifications in Computer Science
• 2+ years networking experience and coding in Perl would be desirable
