Senior Network Engineer

We're seeking a Senior Network Engineer to join our team in Auckland. The role involves managing day-to-day network functions, ensuring reliable service delivery, and driving automation to improve cloud service delivery and customer experience. The successful candidate will have 10+ years of IT experience, AWS certification, and knowledge of network and security management environments.

Requirements

• 10+ years of IT experience
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional
• AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional
• Programming – Node JS, Python qualifications
• Key vendor product knowledge e.g., AWS, Azure/Azure Stack, GCP etc.
• Working knowledge or certification in ITIL Methodologies
• Excellent knowledge of Networking and Firewalling covering Datacentres, Local Area Networks (LANs) and Wide Area Networks (WANs)
• Strong working knowledge of Network and Security management environments, including the associated reporting functions
• Operational / Management knowledge of network and security management systems
• Proficient with modern DevOps Tools and utilities
• Excellent troubleshooting / problem solving skills
• Ability to establish and assure adherence to budgets, schedules, work plans, and performance requirements
• Excellent customer relationship building and management skills
• Ability to manage workload and assigned tasks
• Ability to communicate technical concepts and align them with client business goals and objectives
