Job Description
Datadog is seeking a Director, Enterprise Sales to lead a team of Public Sector Enterprise Sales Executives. The role focuses on driving new business within Japan, achieving quota, developing a strategic roadmap, and mentoring sales individuals. Requirements
- Experience managing a high-performing Enterprise Sales team for a B2B technology company
- Strong relationship-building skills with 5+ years of Enterprise sales experience in public sector
- Confident in managing complex sales processes, pricing, and negotiations
- Knowledge of selling to C-level executives in the IT space
- Experience setting quotas and managing people against those quotas
- Passionate about coaching and a successful track record as an individual contributor
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally
- Experience with MEDDIC and command of the message
- Experience with command of the message and execution of the sales pipeline
