Job Description
Datadog is seeking a Strategic Account Executive to target and close new business with large, strategic customers. This role involves building relationships, understanding customer needs, and negotiating pricing. The ideal candidate will be data-driven, possess sales experience, and thrive in a hybrid work environment.
Requirements
- 5+ years of closing experience (sales within mid-market/enterprise)
- 1M+ sales revenue and average deal size of $100k+
- Experience selling into Fortune 1000 companies with lead generation ability
- Ability to travel up to 70% of the time
- Experience with a SaaS, IT infrastructure, or similar tech company
