Front Desk/Host

Dave & Buster's is a fast-paced environment where employees can work flexible schedules and interact with hundreds of people daily. The front desk/host position requires strong communication skills to provide a positive guest experience. Employees will be responsible for greeting guests, coordinating game rentals and merchandise sales, and ensuring the cleanliness and organization of the front desk and host station.

Requirements

• Acts as ambassador to the building
• Greets guests with a positive attitude and enthusiasm
• Maintains a favorable working relationship with other team members
• Notifies manager of any unhappy guests
• Assists other team members as needed
• Drives table turn timing
• Manages flow from the front doors
• Delivers silverware as guests are seated
• Makes timely and accurate calculations of bill transactions
• Greets and assists guests efficiently
• Reconciles monies from their banks
• Completes "To Go" order transactions
• Sells merchandise from the front desk
• Must be friendly and able to smile frequently
• Must be able to communicate effectively with multiple guests
• Must be able to read and communicate in English
• Must be skilled at calmly responding to dis-satisfied guests
• Must be at least 16 years of age
